bespoke :: custom-tailored; made to fit a particular person
My husband and I sort of fell into homeschooling by default, when our son’s co-op preschool got cancelled a month before school was starting and we couldn’t find anything comparable in price. We quickly realized that a lesson plan is all well and good, but the “Aha!” magic really happens when we added a little more bespoken, and a lot less pigeonholing to the learning process. It shouldn’t have been such an “Aha!” moment for us as parents – after all, most of parenting from day one has been that very lesson … and most of marriage – but what can I say, I’m a slow learner.
The purpose of this blog is to share tidbits of how we’ve worked this idea of bespoke into our lives. My husband and I are children of God and followers of Christ, so that will definitely influence our perspective on certain topics in this blog.
A little bit about us
